Description of Stainless Steel Tubular Braid:
Stainless steel tubular braided wire is recommended when exposed to extremely high temperatures and where greater physical protection is required without the loss of flexibility. It comes in a variety of widths and constructions and steel compositions.
Application of Stainless Steel Tubular Braid:
Stainless steel braid may be used for wire shielding with temperatures exceeding 650°C and provides better mechanical strength than copper braids.
Approvals of Stainless Steel Tubular Braid:
Copper Strands meet ASTM A313 or A580 (supersedes Mil-W-423, QQ-W-423)
