Description of CSA SEWF-1, UL SFF-1:
SEWF-1 and SEWF-2 wires consist of stranded, tinned or nickel-plated conductors with fibreglass over silicone rubber insulation. The SEWF-1 (SFF1) and SEWF-2 (SFF2) are more flexible with a higher strand count. The fibreglass braided jackets are coated with a high-temperature finish and are also resistant to moisture and flames. The class 1 and class 2 have maximum operating voltages of 300V and 600V, respectively, and can withstand temperatures of up to 200°C. Silicone and Fibreglass (SRML) motor lead wires are perfect for use in motors, appliances, lighting fixtures, and high-temperature lead wires.
