Description of CSA TEW Wire, UL1015, UL1028:

CSA TEW wire consists of a single, soft-drawn copper conductor and thermoplastic PVC insulation. It is a highly versatile wire with a maximum operating voltage of 600V. Some of the TEW wire UL1015 & UL1028 applications include switchboards, appliances, electronic circuits, and machine tool wiring. CSA TEW wire is VW-1 flame test rated and is also resistant to heat, oil, and moisture. Lastly, TEW wire UL1015 & UL1028 come in either tinned or bare copper and are available in various sizes and stranding options.

Approvals of CSA TEW Wire, UL1015, UL1028:

CSA TEW per requirements of Spec C22.2 No 27, FT-1.
UL MTW/AWM per requirements of Spec UL1063 Subject 758, VW-1.
UL1015, UL1028, UL1283 & UL1284.
Other possible styles: UL1230, 1231, 1232, 1650, 10269.

Temperature for CSA TEW Wire, UL1015, UL1028:

CSA/UL -30°C to 105°C in dry locations. Not to exceed 60°C in wet locations or when exposed to oil or coolant. When TEW Wire UL1015 & UL1028 is used as MTW, applications should not exceed 90C.

Application of CSA TEW Wire, UL1015, UL1028:

CSA TEW Wire UL1015 and UL1028 are typically used for internal wiring of electrical equipment, leads of transformers and motors. CSA TEW wire UL1015 and UL1028 also has an MTW construction, that's used for machine tool wiring. Lastly, TEW wire is used for AWM applications such as the internal wiring of appliances and other equipment.
