Description of Neoprene Unshielded Flat Festoon Cable:

Sycor’s unshielded neoprene flat festoon cable is a type of flat cable designed for use in festoon systems. It is used where there is space restrictions and where extreme flexing is required. Festoon Cable has a bend radius of 3-5 times its diameter. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, but has strong stability for outdoor applications against crosswinds. The synthetic rubber jacket of Sycor’s unshielded neoprene flat festoon cable makes it oil and flame-resistant and operates well in low-temperature conditions. Temperature ratings range from -40°C to 80°C.

Sycor’s unshielded flat festoon cable with PVC is designed for bridge and gantry cranes, and can also be used for power and control on cranes and hoists.
