Description of Rainbow Ribbon Cable:
The Rainbow ribbon cable is a widely used and very popular configuration of ribbon cable. The .050” pitch on the rainbow ribbon cable allows for mass termination by widely used and low-cost IDC connectors. Multiple conductor colours also help with circuit identification.
